How To Get Your Instagram Link?

With over 1.2 billion users worldwide, Instagram is a fantastic way of connecting with your target audience. You can use the app to take cool photos and videos and share them with your followers.

If you want to promote your brand or product on Instagram, one of the best ways to do it is by sharing your Instagram link with others. This will help people who see your content to find out more about what you do and potentially partner with or buy from you.

Sounds great, right? But how do you actually get your Instagram link?

What Is an Instagram Link?

Your Instagram link is the URL that you can share with people to take them directly to your profile. It’s located in the top section of your bio, under your name and username.

For example, if your username is “@socialshaft”, your link would be “https://www.instagram.com/socialshaft”.

Whether you're using a phone or desktop, getting your Instagram link is easy.

How to Get Your Instagram Link on Desktop

If you’re on desktop, you can get your Instagram link in just a few clicks.

Start by launching your browser and logging into your Instagram account.

In the top-right corner, click your profile icon and you will see “Profile” as the first option.

There are two ways you can do to get your link:

1. Click “Profile”, wait for your Profile page to load, and simply copy the URL on top.

2. If you are using Chrome, right-click “Profile” and choose “Copy Link Address”. And if you are using Firefox or Edge, right-click “Profile” and choose “Copy Link.”

All done! You can paste your Instagram link on your Notes app or share them directly with other people.

How to Get your Instagram Link on Mobile

If you're using Instagram on your mobile device, the app doesn’t allow you to simply copy and paste your Instagram link.

But don’t worry, it’s pretty simple to do!

First, you need to open your Instagram app. At the bottom, tap on the profile icon (rightmost).

On your profile page, you will see your username at the topmost.

To create your Instagram link, replace username in the link below with your username.

https://www.instagram.com/username/

If your username is “@socialshaft”, your Instagram link would be “https://www.instagram.com/socialshaft”.

It’s that simple. You can share this link on your website, in your email signature, or anywhere else you want people to find you on Instagram.
